REMIC Prepayment: Familiar Finance as the Answer Key
1–2. The event and starting state
A full prepayment on a standard loan feeding a REMIC structure provides a familiar technical answer key for validating cash-flow propagation through IO, PO and tranche sequencing.
3–6. What the evidence shows
The engine carries the altered principal-and-interest path through structurally distinct contractual positions — IO and PO strips diverge in the familiar directions, REMIC classes receive principal per their priority — and the value of the demonstration is the evidence discipline around it: exact execution coordinates, raw request/response receipts, and byte-identical replay across sessions and engine changes.
7. What EVA computes
The same structured cash-flow propagation used by every other case in this package, validated against results whose directions any mortgage practitioner can confirm independently.
8. Outside the demonstrated scope
PAC/support band behavior (not exercised by this receipt); any claim of novel prepayment insight; unrelated mechanisms (e.g., event-clustering models) are not claimed through this frame.
9. Evidence / replay coordinate
POST /api/v1/cashflow/apply-events with asset_type: REMIC-A, structure EVA_DEFAULT.yaml, source commit 422ea36a. The archived receipt replays byte-identically on the current commit (twice re-verified during this programme, including after all repair commits): see REGRESSION_RESULT.md and the replay files alongside.
